Dear brothers, sisters, parishioners in Christ,

Welcome to svetisimeon.org, the new web presentation of St. Simeon Mirotocivi Serbian Orthodox Church and Serbian Heritage School of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Our new management committee, elected on “Presentation of the Lord”, February 15, 2009 has begun its mandate of more open communication between the committee and parishioners of the church.

As a result of this mandate, St. Simeon Mirotocivi Serbian Orthodox Church has redesigned and re-launched its web site with the intent of providing  its members, and the secular community, with detailed information regarding the church. With regular updates, the site will provide information regarding development plans, work in the church community, upcoming events, and community announcements.

Due to language barriers, the site has been developed in Serbian Cyrillic only at this time. With apologies to our English-speaking members, we plan to release a full English version of the site, with a launch goal of April 12, 2009 (Palm Sunday).
